Archdiocese of Ramnic

Archdiocese of Ramnic

In the west and north-east part of the picturesque town of Ramnicu Valcea, just under the “Capela” hill, at the foot of the beech and lime forest, is located the residence of the Ramnicu Diocese. Here, in the course of time, three churches, several buildings and a beautiful orchard with trees have been built.

This corner of the town, as it has been presented over the centuries and as it is presented today, was, is and remains a place of recollection for the souls of the faithful.

The Archbishop’s Residence of Ramnic has the following buildings: the Cathedral, the Chapel, the Chapel, the Episcopal Palace, the annexed buildings, the Antim Ivireanul Cultural-Religious Complex.
